Orleans County Conservation District (OCNRCD) works with the state and other conservation organizations to identify water quality projects in our county. After extensive field assessments, we have generated a list of potential restoration projects. For example, in the Lake Willoughby subwatershed alone, we've created a list of 70 potential projects, including stream, wetland, and lake shoreland restoration opportunities. Grant funding is available for the design and implementation of these renaturalization efforts.
