One of the primary objectives of the Conservation District is to educate and inform farmers, land stewards, and the greater community on natural resource issues and solutions.

To fulfill this objective, the Orleans County NRCD holds regular workshops on topics related to land use, natural resources, and water quality, and hosts volunteer opportunities like river cleans up and tree plantings. We also share timely and relevant content via our e-newsletter and our YouTube channel.
