Board of Supervisors

Every conservation district has  board members, which we call supervisors. Along with the District Manager, the Board of Supervisors are critical to the effective leadership of the conservation district. Board supervisors provides overall leadership to the district manager and help guide the strategic direction of the organization. Our state statute indicates that the Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the district shall consist of five supervisors, elected or appointed under this chapter. The supervisors shall be persons residing within the district who are by training or experience, or both, as determined by the district qualified to perform the services which will be required of them.
